Senior Bobby Sisk, a star football player, announced his commitment to Albright College on Sunday via Instagram.

Standing at 6-foot-1 and 275 lbs, Sisk is a powerful offensive lineman. His great strength allowed the Blue Devils to achieve much of their offensive success throughout this past season.

Sisk moved from Bayonne, NJ, to Westfield in the middle of his junior year and fell in love with the Blue Devil football program almost immediately. Since then, he has owed much of his success on the football field to his Westfield teammates and coaches.

“The football season and team helped me get comfortable in Westfield,” Sisk said. “The program as a whole has taught me a lot of valuable lessons.”

Sisk will be joining the Lions next fall, a private liberal arts college that competes at the Division III level in the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC). Albright College is located in Reading, PA, and is an extremely competitive football school, competing against some of the most prestigious Division III teams in the country.

“Albright invited me to come visit and I loved the instant connections I made with the players and coaches there,” Sisk said. “They all welcomed me with open arms and I’m thankful to them for that.”

Sisk will be the fourth Blue Devil in the 2023 class to be playing football at the collegiate level. The Westfield football program prides itself on preparing players for their football future and Sisk is thankful for the opportunity of being a Blue Devil.

Being more determined and dedicated than ever, Sisk is ecstatic to start his new football opportunity.

Sisk added, “I’m looking forward to getting to work over there with the team and to start school in a new environment.”
